What are the check-in and check-out time?
Check-in time is 12:00 pm and check-out time is 12.00 pm each day.

What facilities are available at the Resort?
The bamboo cafeteria, Ice-cream stall , Meeting Hall ,Toilet & shower,Mini swimming pool,Fishing pond,BBQ & campfire,Camping sites, Security guard patrol,Chilling Huts,Picnic Tables, Flag poles, Travel information and Tour guides.

Do you charge for towels and other necessities?
We have towels, soap, shampoo,medicine, etc at our resort for sale for the convenience of our customer.

Do we need adaptors or transformers for our electrical devices?
If you are from Asians countries, adaptors or transformer are not needed but advisable to carry with you as some electrical voltage may differ. In Malaysia, the electricity runs on 240 volts with 50 Hz system.

Our resort activities can be categories in 3 types, wet activities, dry activities and resort activities. What type of food is served at My GOPENG RESORT?
We serve both Malay and Chinese Cuisine, in buffet style. BBQ and steamboat is also available upon requests. |

How many persons are allowed in a Chalet or Dormitory?
We shall arrange the room type according to the number of people in your group. Chalets and dormitory available in our resort can accomodate different amount of people. Our resort is suitable for groups, families, couples or even

How long will it take the Resort to respond to my reservation request?
Within 24 hours.

How do I change or cancel my reservation?
Through telephone, fax or e-mail.

Once I have made my reservation, will I receive any confirmation from the Resort?
Yes. We will e-mail/ call as a final confirmation regarding your reservation.

What if, the hotel has no vacancy?
If we are fully booked then, we will suggest a different date that suits your schedule as we want your stay in our resort as a memorable and exciting one and not being crowded.

How far ahead should I make the reservations?
As early as possible, i.e. at least 48 hours before arrival date.

How to get to My GOPENG RESORT?
Take the Gopeng exit off the North-South Highway. At the Gopeng toll, take a right turn heading towards Gopeng town. Pass Gopeng, down the trunk road. Along the way you will be able to see My Gopeng Resort on your left before the branched forested roads..

Does anyone in Malaysia speak English or any other language?
English is the common language used here.Our national language is Bahasa Malaysia. Malaysian commonly speaks Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin, Tamil, Cantonese, and Punjabi.

Do we need to change money before or upon arrival?
For your convenience, it is always advisable to change to local currency as all transactions in Malaysia will be in Ringgit Malaysia (RM). |
What is the standard tipping practice in Malaysia?
There is no tipping practice in Malaysia. It is solely at your own discretion. |
What should we bring along?
All guests are advised to bring along their own fishing equipments, old sporstwear, torchlights, towels, etc.

What is the weather like there -- what about hurricane season?
Malaysia has an equatorial climate with uniform temperatures throughout the year. |
